Kubrow Cinematic Vs Local Reflection

so i was messing around with my setting and noticed that little cut scene you get when you pet your kubrow wont happen for me if i have local reflections turned off. i tested this by turning up/on all my setting in the display tab and took them off or lowered the setting one by one and pet my kubrow and got that cut scene up until i turned off local reflections. is this happening to any one else?. what i get when i pet my kubrow is a quick flash of a black screen if i have local reflections turned of what sucks is that if i leave local reflections turned on it greatly lowers my FPS. can someone plz help?



p.s tried this on my laptop and desktop this issue seems to only affect my desktop :(
