RealPandemonium
SOH needs to affect enemy AI so that they run into lockers or something. Also, the damage seems low at all levels. Ralsk
I've tried the skill a few times and was extremely underwhelmed by it. I knew it was terrible but seeing it for myself it was just bad. The idea is interesting and the potential is there for it to be good but it simply isn't in its current state. The most glaring issue is that the pickups in range of your ability have incredibly small range to the point that if the enemy isn't basically sitting on it they won't be hit for anything. The other problem that just makes this worse is that all the pickups detonate instantly. No timer, no proximity detection of any kind. For the previous reason of the radius of the explosion being small all this really guarantees is that you have a very flashy way to get rid of your pickups to make the game a bit more difficult for yourself. AandOE
Sleight of Hand did feel as if a much longer duration and slightly bigger casting area would fix a lot of the problems. It could even be changed to be a traveling area, centered on the player for the first sentence I mentioned. I say traveling, as many folks do not stick around in one place, but rather run everywhere; so when one casts the original version, they'll be out from said area in a matter of moments, thus negating most of the possibilities. Either of these solutions would work, but it's ultimately up to our devs' intents on what they believe needs more attention first. ^_^
Nira
It is largely situational, and doesn't do enough damage or [preferably] status chance for my liking. However, I do like seeing the Corpus' turrets and laser doors backfiring on them. Never gets old. Edited September 3, 2014 by Dualice
Mak_Gohae
It's for stealth. When there are multiple enemies and they are not walking in a path that lets you get to them alone without being noticed, you can pop this and separate or basically kill them all without being noticed. Sloan441
SoH isn't useless, but it's niche is a very narrow one. Mainly, it's best dealing with rushtards in invasions and exterminations. You know the kind: Rhino with marathon and speed mods running through cameras, gates, whathaveyou. Now, as Mirage, you have an answer to this sort of philistine pig-ignorant behavior: SoH! Just hit the button and you, too, can bypass gates, cameras, gun turrets, all that annoying stuff. Better yet, you can annoy the rushtards with low end computer crushing graphical and particle effects and bedevil the corpus at the same time. There's no downside to Mirage. (PSN)WiiConquered
I honestly think the concept of the skill is good, just the items don't have enough explosion range/aren't attractive enough to enemies. I only know what lockers do while affected by the ability because of the Update 14 preview. I went to a survival mission on Apollodorus with the sole goal of catching an enemy in a locker, but the Grineer seemed to have fun piling up right next to them and laughing as I exploded all the ammo I had lying on the ground (which didn't have enough range to hurt them). So I'd increase the range enemies get pulled into lockers, increase the radius of ammo/orb explosions to maybe 2-3 meters of effectiveness and maybe give them a 30-50% chance to proc depending on the type of drop (magnetic for Energy, viral for Health, blast or maybe ragdoll for everything else). And it would be nice if we could still pick them up afterwards.

Seanjuju
Every frame. EVER. has a useless skill. Thats balance, you get 1,2,3 useful skills in trade for one thats completely bad. (Or too situational/niche to be useful) Hydroid doesn't have this issue. All 4 are winners.
sushibend
SoH(sleight of hand) just does not fit in with mirage's whole theme She is supposed to be a glass cannon(low defenses, high speed, hall of mirrors, eclipse, prism) that steamrolls through enemies, not scampering around, taping a flashlight to a grineer storage crate while vaporizing a few boxes of ammo. Game is too fast paced for "scampering" of any kind

weirdee
I thought the skill also cut all the kill laser cooldowns by half in void def, so you can use them more.
