Orokin Catalyst Help

Quick question about the Orokin Catalysts.

 

Am I able to remove them from weapons? I put mine on the Skana which I now see was a horrible idea.....

 

And am I able to craft them or get the freely without paying? Also I'd like to know the same with the reactors for the warframes.

You can not remove them from a weapon.

 

You can get the blueprints from alert missions or as a log in reward. Same for the reactors

This. Once a weapon or warframe is potato'd, it will always be potato'd. (And only that instance of the weapon/warframe, so if you sell it and build another one from BPs, it won't be potato'd.)

Better keep up with the Alerts outside the game...So many ways are available now..I just follow their alerts on twitter and get the alerts on my phone. Just search the forums for other ways if you need to.

Alert missions with an Orokin Catalyst/Reactor don't happen that frequently...but they happen. 

 

Maybe someone reading this could provide links?
