Amprex is a winner. It should work well with banshee.

However, the Amprex has terrible ammo efficiency even if burst fired. Definitely not the best choice for an hour+ T4 Survival run unless you're having issues dealing with groups. Bows have amazing scaling into survival games, especially if you land the headshots. The damage per shot ratio is just superb.

Are you running 4xCorrosive Projection? If not, that will help your damage immensely. Or run a couple of them and a couple Energy Siphons. Depending on how well coordinated your team is, you may want more CC. I guess that all depends on what abilities Banshee is modding for...

Amprex is a very good weapon, don't worry about ammo, you should bring ammo restore anyway or even ammo mutation if you like. It feels like it consumes a lot of ammo due to the fast fire rate, but the DPS is insane and it has an AOE, so it is actually a lot more efficient that other weapons. Kills faster means more oxygen which is nice. The only downside is the range, you will have to do a lot of close quarter combat so be careful.

2 Paris prime or Dread is required also for the heavy grineers

Personally, I use crit-corrosive build Amphrex and a corrosive-fire Orthos Prime.

Amprex - because if you survived long enough, you won't need to aim. You will be surrounded by a happy party of glowing eximus and the screen will be so flashy that you can't really tell who is who and what is what. Amprex "solves" that for you because you just need to "spray" in the general direction.

Orthos Prime - for the range and attack speed. And if you dragged to the last, melee weapons may be the only thing left.

Invis Loki + melee mode + corrosive build melee + possibly Steel Charge Aura can extend the efficiency of the weapon "just a little more" (at least I find this limit higher than guns).

Invis Loki - add stealth crit

melee mode - add melee multiplier

corrosive - procs armor reduction that accumulates, effectively making later hits more damaging

Steel Charge - scales up the damage but just a little but more with respect to enemy levels.

At least with an invisible loki, if you are careful about energy drain and ability renewal, you can avoid most direct damage if you don't stand in the line of fire. It might take 5 seconds or more for you chop down one heavy, but at least you can keep on killing while staying alive.

The main limit will the aching muscles of your hand.

EDIT: Just realized that the glowing eximus party is more for T4. But should apply to T3 if you stay long enough as well (?)

Your team could all use corrosive projection and then go for slash or (nonelectric)elemental based weapons and build for viral(+fire if room after all poison/cold mods).

For dread would it be better to have pure Viral (Cryo+Infected Clip + Malignant Force) or Viral(Cryo+Infected Clip) + Fire(90%)

Fire. It gets +25% bonus against cloned flesh so 90% fire is equal to 112.5% while +75% for viral makes 60% viral mod equal to 105%.

Although, the damage boost isn't that big, so it could be better to have viral only so it procs more often.
