Jinkaza
This is happening to me as well. I just spent sometime going through both my router and my firewall configs and all seems fine. However when I log in now I cannot see anyone on my friends list and cannot recieve invites. I have narrowed it down to my Windows firewall, but there are 4 versions of it on my inbound rules page. Am I supposed to alternate them 4950, 4955,4950,4955? I turn off the firewall and can see everyone but the games is laggy. Any help would be great. Cheers! Lobopat
So can anyone give me instructions on how to fix this? Please. I've read that people bought new modems and stuff or quit because they can't play with other people anymore and i don't wanna resort to doing this. I know some people have fixed the same problem before so, let me know how they/you did it.
Abenoki
This probably is your routers firewall, you need to do these things (spent a week or so resolving nat/firewall issues) Exact steps will vary based on router make/model 1. Go to your router settings and find port forwarding, forward those two listed UDP ports to your computer and reserve your IP so it doesnt change (find your ip in cmd prompt using "ipconfig", your router may also list your PCs name) 2. Go to your routers Firewall settings and set TCP and UDP filtering to Endpoint Independent to Open your Nat 3. In warframe disable UPNP and Nat-PMP as youre forwarding the ports so you dont need them anymore. Make sure you dont forward the TCP ports or when you send invites you will receive your own invite. Lobopat
I've done what this thing told me, i went to my router's advanced settings, port forwarding and entered 4950 and 4955 for UDP and another one for TCP because this thing said so. https://warframe.com/firewall although it didnt fix anything, i still cannot play with anyone and the friends list is still stuffed up. I dont know what to do anymore Edited September 2, 2014 by johnisgangs3
Jinkaza
I made a post in the support general about this and linking back to this thread. Maybe we can get some eyes on this from DE's side.
Angius
Sometimes it just pops out randomly for me as well. It does nothing, though, I can play normally with both my friends and PUGs.
