Grulos
Just did multiple ODD and I was the host. Sometimes I hit the same enemy for 12 000 damage, then again only 1000. Sometimes I do only 800 damage for some shots, then again I do 9400. This happens to my brother AND me, so this isn't a client-host bug. It also didn't matter where we shot (headshots, bodyshots, on the floor in front of the enemies), the damage was totally random, more so the higher the enemies lvl were. This bug is as old as the Ogris and still not fixed. Do something finally instead of releasing more stuff on even more platforms. Fix the game finally. Kamikiri
I always thought the damage dealt by explosive weaponry was relative to how close the target is to the center of the explosion. Edited September 2, 2014 by Kamikiri
AdunSaveMe
Do something finally Agreed with you till you said this. Telling them to 'finally do something' when all they've been doing this whole time is 'something' is not the way to give feedback. Them not doing what you want does not count as them doing nothing. As for the bug, I never noticed it until very recently, where my Ogris (6 formae and a bunch of mods) was just not doing much damage. Never noticed it before that. It's pretty much been fine. SoulsReaperX
It really annoys me that they keep adding stuff and with new bugs rather fix the old ones first ! -_-
Ayamiss
I was using it before ammo nerf and it was doing consistent damage but only when explosion is near target, when i directly hit the target i would usually see damage from rocket itself not its explosion damage. AdunSaveMe
First quote is the reason I said "Do something finally". This implies it's as simple as 'just fixing bugs'
Grulos
This implies it's as simple as 'just fixing bugs' No it doesn't. I didn't say it was simple. But it has to be done instead of stuffing more stuff into the game which is awesome, but bugs amass.
AdunSaveMe
No it doesn't. I didn't say it was simple. But it has to be done instead of stuffing more stuff into the game which is awesome, but bugs amass. They do both. Seriously. You can't have every single person working on fixing bugs, because not everyone can. Some people are in charge of animating. They can't fix bugs. Some people are in charge of concepts. They can't fix bugs. There are multiple teams all doing different things. You can't expect them all to just drop what they're doing and go and fix bugs. The people who have the skills to add stuff into the game do so, and the people with the skills to fix bugs do so to the best of their ability. Winkypoo
This problem still persists, 23th Oct 2014. Most noticeably it is happening on Ancient (in ODD): o even without Vortex o with and without Novas Mprime o Corrosive+Blast Damage ranges from 500dmg to 100k crit damage o it is not affected by Distance o used it with the Firestorm Mod (+range) o when the Dmg Numbers pop up it shows seperate Corrosive and Blast so 500dmg pop up twice with one rocket Hope it will be fixed one day as this bug causes the one and only warframe rocket-launcher to be a bug-launcher.
