slykidd
Sounds more like you wanna race peeps. I myself run at the speed the group runs got conditioned to do that back when I first started in vindictus. Stay together you live longer rush ahead and you may as well be a dirt sack. I've seen so many Loki just run off and then scream at the team when they are dying half a map away and were swamped with enemies. Before you say I run at a snails pace I use narrowminded zephyr with tail wind and turbulence for void and corpus and blind rage valkitty with warcry which makes most weapons copter able. So if my group rushed I just get there faster. Also sling jumping is a lot faster than coptering just needs timing to pull off. So yeah rush in solo or if group rushes. but if i get downed i dont complain in the slightests though and usually enemies cant even do that much damage to down me. WhisperByte
You merely adopted rushing. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see my teammates before they reached the extraction. Edited September 3, 2014 by WhisperByte
KingTaro
I always go solo if it's a mission where I'll be rushing. Ain't nobody got time to wait at the extraction. Not to mention those double lock doors.
zavienh5
Every now and then i see post that say why is everyone rushing? or i hate rushers or take out zoren-copter. but i dont think ive ever seen any posts that actually explain why there are rushers. I personally rush through and and all missions that allow me to do so. Im the type of guy who bring his zoren copter (or fang copter) to a sabotage mission. I ignore all most enemies except the high level enemies (bombards, naplams ect...). At this point your probably &!$$ed at me. But the only reason I do this is because I have already done these types of mission a thousand times over. with over 700hrs in game you can imagine how stale these missions must get. can you explain to me why I should kill every single enemy every single time? A personal problem that I have with the forum posts against rushers is that most of them are not even meant to be on the planet that I am on yet. (just to clarify I play on pluto, void and wherever an alert for something i want is.) I think rushingis a vaild play method and the only people that complain are the people who havent got their zoren copters. also i ahte those dual doors :D Edit: though i should add this in there. http://i3.ytimg.com/vi/VTHsOSGJHN0/hqdefault.jpg 1+ its seriously boring af, cuz this is a farming game so im just rushing to get it over with, theres no point in killing all the enemies so if i wanna kill like 1 enemy, i just bring my 3 forma amprex

(PSN)Folkeye
Well if you've done the mission many times over, go solo and rush the night away. There are missions I've done many times over and I don't rush. I just press forward at a comfortable pace. I don't open most lockers, nor kill everything. But I'm not sprinting through it either. If I do, I tend to fly solo or with a friend with the same goal. If you don't need anybody, no need to go in with others and take the kills/location of dropped prize away. THAT'S ANNOYING. The ones that run in, kill everything before you get there and you have no idea where the drop is since they're not polite enough to at least mark it so you can grab it before they extract you. AlchemicMike
On higher level planets I can agree, probably shouldn't stop and smell the roses. And some missions I welcome rushers (In some cases). On Sabotage of Deception provided you carry things I say you can go as fast as you want to go. There's also some times you shouldn't rushDefense: Not everyone is min-maxed and have it so their abilities cost minuscule amounts of energy. Let people break open some containers then starts the waves, otherwise you'll be complaining how your noob team is made of fail and don't use abilities.Rescue: For the love of Lotus do not EVER rush a rescue. It turns into a game of luck when the rusher frees the target then immediately bolts for extraction. Sometimes I can make it to the target in time and protect them while the other two make for the extraction as well. Then they usually have the gall to say "Just leave them" "You're taking to long just run". More often than not I manage to keep the target alive but miss the extraction.Excavation: Holy moley did the rushers come out for that event. One frost and a loki that's just activating as many excavators as he can without killing anything. Yells at the team cause they keep dying and we'll never reach 3000 points at this rate then leaves. We hit 4600 once he left. The only time I would say rushing is good is when you have to activate the scanner. By all means drop a power core in, if you're super fast show it by being super fast and activating the scanner again. You will be a godsend to a slow frost. There is a time and a place for rushing, no doubt about it, but when it costs others enjoyment you're playing a coop game wrong. The slowest player should speed up to stay with the group and the fastest should slow down and stay with the group. Granted that never happens, but it's a nice pipe dream. And please, think of the rescue target.
Sloan441
Mostly they supply practice for revive tactics. I suppose you could look at them as providing opportunities for search and rescue when they frequently drop in some distant corner of the map, but I confess I lost interest enabling stupidity some time ago. Macdermott
because i want that 4 player coop experience which warframe is renown for. Also it sounds like your they type that goes slowly cant i say the same to you? i guess i should ask you why do you play warframe? i know it wasnt the solo experience that attracted you. But you're not contributing to the experience for the other 3 people. You're being pretty selfish there with that statement. Just run them solo. You'll be happier, and so will the slowpokes. RavenousPartyLibrarian
About 600 hours in here. I... like to kill things. That's part of what Warframe is, isn't it? What's the point of Warframe without fighting (Or massacring, I guess)? What kind of game experience are you getting from rushing? It doesn't sound like the kind you should be getting from a game like. Focusing on objectives, or messing around with parkour is understandable, but just straight out avoiding enemies? Maybe you should start playing some Sonic racing game or something.
Petersheikah
It depends for me. If its a Sabotage or a Capture i rush, but if we are farming something I stay with the group to get as much resources as i can. I'm not a big fan of Zorens, so I usually limit myself to sprint+little slide to recover stamina and run a little bit faster.
Chaosdreamer
Was that thread really necessary? Don't we have plenty of those already? Same thing question would be Ok , with your post ? Was is necesary nop , also we don't have the reason to rush , I hope theire will be more of them Also , I rush because I can , I'm at 900 hour + of games , and still I don't understand how rank 0 with mk1 , lato and skana join my mission in Pluto , I just dislike everything done agains't rusher ,why theire is no system against slower? I mean you are not at extract in time , no reward , theire no need to always punish the best for what the worst can't do (Oh and one day , they will be at our level/rank/skill/whatever , they will do the same thing as us , and complain
BizarreFetalChimpanzee
I just mostly play solo so I can go at whatever pace I feel like playing at without having to worry about a rusher or a noob *@##$ing about said pace (though if I am playing with new guys to give them the ropes, I slow down to whatever pace they're at out of courtesy). Only time I'm not solo is generally when I'm playing with friends, as we can actually agree on how fast we're going to go through a mission. (PSN)Fbeast2
I will rush alerts and when I want to solo. Generally the rewards are not any better for staying longer or breaking open every locker. I will always run at the speed of the squad I am with. I don't need to prove to anyone how fast I can run from the spawn room to extraction. As I now have almost everything I want or need, the most rewarding thing for me to do in the game now is to take clan noobs under my wing and help them rank up and clear the solar system. Pass along some of the knowledge I have to them. They enjoy the game more. I actually have a purpose and a reason to play the game. Not to mention I make friends and get a feeling of satisfaction from playing. Sometimes living life in the fast lane you miss out on some of the finer things. Demon-King-Lamb
I completely take your side, I also rush, not cause I want to be faster than others, but cause I want to finish the objective quickly This. Exactly what this guy says. Completing the objective as soon as possible to get the reward. And if I want to take my time. I'll farm resources or lvl up some weapons. Evan-0-matic
This is one of those unbelievably vain posts that I wish I could slap the OP sides way with a Fraggor. For heavens sake, man... Play SOLO then!!! You're not being part of a team at all so there is no reason to play for the co-op experience that you say, is WF. You sound like a self absorbed jerk (like all rushers who play Public matches). You're not helping any other player in your squad by rushing ahead... So just stop! Yes, I rush too. But I have the respect for my fellow Tenno to do it on my own.
PurpleBomber
I'm actually just the opposite... If I need to take my time to farm (void runs for argon as a prime example), I tend to do THAT solo. Exploring and opening lockers is not something that needs a party escort, and having more people doesn't up the drop chances. Plus, it's like herding cats trying to get a team of players to actively not complete the objective. XD Granted, that's all assuming this is happening on any of the mainstay farming nodes. If you're just diving into random parts of the starmap that people only play for completion and rushing through, that's just obnoxious.
IIPREDATORII
They don't play solo because, with more players in a squad there's a better chance at getting what they want from the drop table. So pretty much they're just USING YOU for a better RNG. If they do it solo they don't get as many enemies as they would "playing" in pub. That's the real reason. If not they would solo it. To me they're just leeching off you in a different way. More people= more useless enemies for him to leave behind, and more bombards for him to kill for a chance to get what he's looking for. He's lying when he says " I have already done these types of mission a thousand times over. " as being the "real" reason. I hope they add more double doors by the way.
