Kylecrafts
-Or Mum, or Dad, even. I remember in Secondary School (Middle to High School, for you American folks) I did accidentally a couple of times. Everyone laughed at me. Haven't done it since, though. ~Kylecrafts

GrizzlyBear
I used to say "Sorry mom" to my teacher when she'd get upset with me. Creepy right? Cool.

(XBOX)GravasaurusRex
I had my mom as my teacher once upon a time. That being said she's retired and I've been out of school for about 7 years.

HunterHog
I did. I said it. I admit it. What makes it worse is that it was a MALE teacher and I was chatting with him directly. It was awkward.
Khawz
In my language there's a name for each teacher gender, the far i went was to call one of my male teachers by the female name during one question to him, it was kinda awkward. Freelancer27
Honestly, it reminds me of my grade school days, having teachers considered as actual "second" parents does keep you feel safe and homely. It's a good recommendation that teachers should treat their students like they were their children, as much as every teacher must know about their students. Otherwise, then it's a trash school filled with horrible people. Having teachers called as parents means the school has a lot to offer other than merely education, in which I salute to them than anywhere else. Ghost333
I had a teacher from Britan while I was in primary school. Aside from all the other times I had accidentally called the teachers 'Mum,' there was one time I tried to say 'ma'am' in the most British accent possible for me at the time, but it came out sounding like 'mu'um.'
