Nova Build

Question

Well i have a doubt about the actual nova, basically about the builds:

 

1)  Energy siphon, Flow, continuity, intensify, stretch, redirection, vitality.

 

2) Energy siphon, Flow, intensify, blind rage, streamline, redirection vitality

 

I use the first build but i have the second one too so, whats your opinion guys

If you wanted to make the most of a defence mod then vitality is the better pick because she has a higher base health than shields, ofcourse given shields recharge whereas health does not, but if you don't plan on being hit much then get rid of the redirection and replace it with fleeting expertise.

2) Energy siphon, Flow, intensify, blind rage, streamline, vitality, Fleeting expertise.

You'll do better building her for damage/utility more. Slap Overextended for Neg Nova, or Blind Rage, or something. Nova is not meant to stay in the first line, therefore she won't need more health. Leave Vitality for Saryn, Rhino, Valkyr and the rest of tanks and semi-tanks.

But what about the build number 1, stretch still viable (blast radius explosion), and continuity ? and why 

Sorry i thought i second build contained stretch, stretch is viable, infact i would go as far as to saying it's needed, but like i said, thats just my opinion

Furthermore: you can remove the flow if you ever need to go negetive nova and can fit a max rank overextended in that slot

Agreed, having no defence mods would get you killed in a matter of seconds in higher level missions,2 of them are viable but personally i only use one.

 

Having hp/shield mods will get you killed in seconds on higher level missions anyway. Running max slowdown on Molecular Prime will help her survivability more if you can dodge and move well enough to avoid incoming fire.

Snare/Debuff: MPrime, Intensify, R2 BR, FE+Streamline, NM + Continuity + Constitution. Leaves room for AMD+Redirection or 2 ehp mods of choice.

NoSnare/Debuff: MPRime, R3 OE (instead of power mods), ...ditto. Basically gives 2x damage without snaring enemies.

Nuke: MPrime, AMD, Intensify, R5 BR, FE+Streamline, Stretch, Continuity+Constitution, Redirection. Gives +45% range, +84% PS and 50% efficiency, but only +8% duration so nuke isn't massive. Can replace the two C duration mods for NM and OE for a loss in power strength (good for lower levels).
