Suthurn
a couple things just bug me to no end because they defy all modern logic. 1) your shields work worse in the cold. this is just backwards. did you know one of the only ways to transfer power with 100% efficiency is with a superconductor? superconductors must be kept at a temperature of absolute zero. so if anything, shields should work better in the cold. 2) you move faster sliding. i dont even feel like you need to take physics to understand the basic concepts of friction reducing speed. i dont expect you to make major changes, but really. these things are just nonsensical. p.s. why do you have modes like no-shields, or reduced shields, when certain frames are designed to have low armor and high shields? you basically single those frames out and troll them. also, why is oberon's midsection all malformed? he looks like an insect. vaugahn
Maybe the shield emitters aren't as powerful when it's cold? Maybe warframes throw themselves into a slide? Maybe Oberon is horribly mutated by his exposure to the void? (protip: he is)
letir
Your shields don't take damage on "Corpus Outpost" tileset... if thermal generator of this outpost isn't broken! Waframe Logic. Edited September 5, 2014 by letir

[DE]Grzegorz
You just tried to apply logic to Warframe, didn't you? We don't do it here, it's prohibited and in worst cases ends with universe implosion.
dragonboss
Oberon doesn't not look like an insect. He is Literally a Deer in a Warframe.
direcyphre
1) Superconductors are only possible in extreme cold, though not 'absolute zero' as that has not yet been achieved. Shields, however, are not superconductors, nor power transfer devices. They are space magic. 2) You move faster sliding because sliding is awesome. Everyone knows speed is directly proportional to how awesome something is. Once we get flame stickers for warframes, then we'll be REALLY fast. (PSN)MoRockaPDX
Cold temperatures slow atomic processes, or something to that effect. So, even though a superconductor will function better in a cold environment the shield that is emitted would be weakened. As far as sliding goes, I think you do slide slower, or less distant when attempting to slide up hill.
Stormandreas
Actually, with shields, it's perfectly reasonable for them to be tampered by the cold. Shielding usually uses heat, or needs heat to generate, so making the cold tamper with it makes sense. As for sliding, have you not noticed that we don't slide indefinitely? We do slow down to a stop.Instead of making accusations like that, play and pay attention.
RobWasHere
If you treat shield as superheated plasma held by magnetic field, weaken by cold makes sense as It is meant for melting projectiles before it can harm user. Plasma hit by cold increases density and lower its temperature, so other part of shield need to compensate increasing power usage to melt that point again. But how it repel melee? Magnetic field that hold plasma repel iron from weapon and infested body?
Varzy
Oberon is wearing heavy armor, like a medieval knight. Google it.
