Kennerbobber
Alright so in the real world, Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system with a temperature around 460°C (Around 860°F). However, in Warframe, you can clearly see what appears to be snow on the surface. At first I thought it was one of Venus's moons but then I realzied, Venus has no moons. Any theories on why Venus has snow?

Verryn
Well it's obvious, the corpus made a fake base to fool you into completing a 'mission'. Throw in a little snow, and they won't question if that's the real location, they'll question "What? Snow on Venus?"

I think someone brought up forcefields and artificial atmospheres when that response found its way into the discussion.

OptimumBow0
What? Your post was third. There's nothing like that above it. A previous discussion. Like, nigh a year ago. Some intellectual people were duking it out over what the Orokin could and could not do to control localized weather, and there were some casualties (I still have the emotional wounds). This isn't the same thread I'm referring to, but it's fairly similar: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/220616-please-tell-me-venus-is-next/?hl=terraform#entry2556967
Iceski13
Simply because this game is in development and Venus doesn't have its own tileset yet. I think hes right because Im pretty sure that the current tileset there is the generic corpus planet tileset.
(PSN)NearlyDedicated
Yeah, as the others have said, it's just bc Venus hasn't gotten its own tileset yet. A long time ago, it was the only Corpus tileset alongside the ship one. So for all corpus planets, the ice world was the tileset. This is changing over time, however. Verryn
Imagine DE reading this and thinking "let's make everything on this place on fire, and all you do is run for the exit before you die from fire." Added bonus, Flame Repellent is worth it now.
ClockworkSpectre
Because DE is yet to give each planet unique tileset. Simply because this game is in development and Venus doesn't have its own tileset yet. These two reasons. Well... they are basically the same so, this one reason stated twice lol. Eldnacpeek
In a game where you can enter a pocket-dimension known as the "Void" on the outer periphery of the Solar System, only to find yourself in a Persian mall, inhabited by rich clones and dealers wearing the most expensive gold in the universe, I'm pretty sure you don't need any explanation.
