I could be wrong, but I don't think I am - if you can only hold one egg normally (and you can), I can't imagine an alert reward will act any different. Eggs added outside missions are not affected. I loved this alert.... the egg gave me a Huras..... after more than 10 eggs hatching in the oven, a Huras hatched, now she is just sleeping there waiting for adulthood I had the opposite problem.
