Krazzie
Had tried controller on many other games but nothing beats keyboard-mouse. More Faster and Better Accuracy over Controller. Controller would be better for Fighting Games, such as the godfather of all fighting game related to Street Fighter. Also Arcade related games. BrazilianJoe
Waiting for that Steam thingie to be finalised, then I'll check it out. I'm optimistic about it being an improvement over gamepads.
Cpt_Atroxium
Controller is good for slow nice movements, for cinematics etc. Look cool when around the pod, in dojo party or even upcomming HUB's. So controller has it's uses, but for combat the key+mouse is dominant. Controller use looks and feels prettier upon animations and movements. Kyboard and mouse is the dominant for doing all kinds of combos' moves and all that. It's a pro / con situation for both. You gotta find what suits the situation best. Controller does have places where it shines, but it's definitely not in shooters or CRPGs. Also, m/k is just generally, universally, a better way of controlling a computer for most things. Sure, you can use more specialized tools for specialized games, but m/k will make a good fist of anything, and in its home ground, shooters, it's the dog's bollocks. SRI and Xerox PARC weren't whistling dixie when they plumped for m/k and GUIs as the best general way of controlling computers way back in the 70s (they actually tried touch screens, but while touch screens are ok for small screens, when it comes to doing stuff on big screens, who needs to make all that physical effort when a tiny twich of your relaxed hand can do the same thing?)
