Void.Abstraction
Hey Guys, I can see this has come up before, and am unsure why this simple feature hasn't been implemented? The user name is recorded in the EE.CFG, why can't we also allow for the password to be as well? Surely this would only take 10 minutes to implement, and can be added to the next update? JohnProdman
You aren't allowed to share your account, and this would cause security concerns.
Void.Abstraction
security issue maybe? idk You aren't allowed to share your account, and this would cause security concerns. What security issues exactly? I also don't understand how saving a password has anything to do with sharing an account? If someone is going to share an account, they just provide the other person with their password? If its your computer, then you should be able to have a remember password feature. If its a shared computer, then don't tick "remember password". It's not overly complicated. It's a win-win implementation where everyone can be happy - if you don't want to store your password, then don't tick the box? I can't see an argument against this implementation. Fubukin
"Hey, my baby brother logged in on my account and bought stuff I don't want. Can I get a refund?" Stuff like that. Same reason why you don't get a 'remember my PIN' option at an ATM.
Sankyu
I think it's better to type the password everytime. This way you will remember it :)
Just4Games
Remember password option.... BAD! Why? See below: "Hey, my baby brother logged in on my account and bought stuff I don't want. Can I get a refund?"
