Given that it aesthetically trades damage for protection, why not have it act as such? Wouldn't it be cool if having the Silva & Aegis (or any sword & board combo) equipped allowed you to block while using a 1-handed pistol? I think this would also help bridge the gap in power between akimbo and single pistols, and give people a reason to keep their single pistols and use their Aegis for something other than fashion.If anything, it could be used to block with any weapon with a slight hit in damage reduction (100% w/ single secondaries, 80% with primaries, etc.).Just a thought. If DE does decide to touch it, hopefully they take this approach into consideration.
