Hi,

 

1. Is Bite mod really worth to max it out?

 

2. Is there big difference between a kubrow with bite mod and without.

 

3. What if i combine Maul with Bite?

I could be wrong, but it seems like bite actually adds to the base damage of the kubrow itself. Like I set it and the slash damage went up, as well as the crit chance and crit damage. Id set them both. I mean what else could you put there?

then you'll get 330% melee damage and 330%crit chance+220% crit damage multiplier

I also found this viable. My kubrow had 1.9k slash damage with maxed Maul and rank 8 Bite. After maxing Bite, it is now 2.2k slash damage.

Bite is pretty much required to maximize your Kubrow.

 

It is as essential as Multishot is for guns.

As you can see all the kubrows have 120 Slash damage, 10% Crit Chance and 1.6 Crit Dmg

Meaning you can calculate it...

Kubrow + Maul =

120 x 3,3 = 396       = 396 Slash Damage    396 x 1.6 = 633,9     = 633 Slash Damage on Crit     So you have a 10% Chance to do 633 Damage.

Kubrow + Bite =

10 x 3,3 = 33         = 33% Crit Chance      1.6 x 2,2 = 3,52      = 3.5 Crit Damage      120 x 3.5 = 420       = 420 Slash Damage on Crit    So you have a 33% Chance to do 420 Damage.

Kubrow + Maul + Bite =

       396 x 3,5 = 1386      = 1386 Slash Damage on Crit     So you have a 33% Chancee to do 1385 Damage.

I barely leveled Maul up, but maxed bite, its amazing how hard they hit.

Hah, it happens. Those mods stats can be confusing sometimes.

Although, your calculations still provide the right bonus you get from the mods, so wouldn't say it was a waste of time.
