gpturismo Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I searched the forums and I am either blind or didn't find info on fixing the fact the heavy weapons such as Torrid and Ogris use sniper ammunition but it only shows the Rifle Mutation Mod in mod selection.Has there been a stated fix for this? It seems to be part of an odd series of workarounds to how they coded it. So, there technically isn't anything to fix; it's just counter-intuitive. Heavy weapons (Rifle or pistol) use sniper ammunition pool, the SAME pool but with their original MODS then : -a Penta will use sniper ammunition pool (penta : 20) + Rifle Ammo MODS + Ammo drum (+30% of ammo), you get 26 rounds -an Angstrum will use sniper ammunition pool (angstrum : 30) + Pistol Ammo MODS + Trick Mag (+90% of ammo) : you get 57 rounds What happen if you play dirty...(like I am doing) you can : -Equip a Angstrum with Pistol Ammo MODS + Trick Mag (+90% of ammo) : you get 57 rounds -Equip a Penta without Rifle Ammo MODS + Ammo drum (+30% of ammo) : you still have 57 rounds and you save 14pts of capacity drain Tada... and then a nerf on weapon can help you buff your main weapon an use the side one as an ammo saver and converter....
