Volatile Runners Insta Killed The Cryo Pod

So i was on Sinai leveling a weapon up with vauban, on solo. There were points in the game where weirdly the pod would just lose half of its health out of no where. At first, i though I was just letting a few too many volatile slip by because of the healing aura from healers or the vortex can't attract the electric midget. But then, last two volatiles on wave 20, shot them both, instant mission fail out of no where.

Did you use an explosive weapon against them? Volatiles have a tendency to deal multiplied damage when killed by explosives.

I was using Thunderbolt, i guess that counts.
