Alert Mission Concept: Gun Cartel

Hey DE and fellow tenno, I had an idea for a mission type in game. The corpus and grineer are starting to ship and develop weapons at the same time, through the use of new technology stolen from lost tenno blueprints, similar to the forge within your own ship. Because of this, they have gun runner ships, which you can raid. The alert mission works like this: The alert becomes active, and you raid the ship, once you are done, you have a very, very low chance to get a random weapon, but a very high chance of getting one random weapon part (Not a blueprint, the actual receiver, stock, etc). You do the alerts, possibly build up the parts for a gun, or have parts for weapons you have or don't want to sell off for cash. All you do need is the weapon blueprint, you do the missions, get the parts, put the gun together. It could be randomized like stated above, and DE could use it for an event with specific weapon pieces, a sort of 'scavenger hunt' as you will. I like the idea and it would make the game interesting to have another way to get weapons.

But you could change it so that the weapons are a bit harder to get by getting the blueprint for the part of the weapon in the mission instead of the whole part.

Yeah, I guess you are right, that would make it a tad harder, which is fine for how the mission would play out 0.0

yeah it would be a bit funner cos then you have to find the resources as well to build the parts

Codex entries of some weapons always refer to it being snatched from Grineer or Corpus hands. Now we get to do it ourselves! +1
