An angel with a broken chariot streaked across the night sky, falling to her almost certain doom. With a mighty last ditch flap at the last moment, her fate changed and she is merely broken. Beasts prowled towards the fallen cherub, curious of what she might be. Predator? Prey? Companion? They don't know. But, the angel has to wake up. Wake up or be eaten alive!

The feral Kubrows approached the fallen Tenno, growling and snapping at the intruder. As one closed in to get a closer look at its prey, it dropped to the ground with a round hole in its head, a split-second before the sharp retort of a Latron cracked through the air. As the others turned to flee, the Latron spat repeatedly, shots burrowing into the animal's torsos, legs and heads at random, with some doing nothing more than kicking up dirt at their feet. Only a couple of the Kubrows escaped, yipping as they dove into the jungle undergrowth.

 

A white and black Zephyr dropped from the canopy, landing next to the fallen Mag Prime. She quickly threw her Latron over her back, and knelt down to try to shake her awake. "Hey!" she shouted into the Mag Prime's helmet, fervently attempting to rouse her. "Hey! HEY! Can you hear me? Wake up!"

It was almost pointless, while the Zephyr could clearly tell that Anastasia was alive, the impact from the landing had knocked her out stone cold. The systems on her Warframe responded to the touch of the other Tenno however and worked to try and help the wearer recover. The repeated shaking combined with the Warframe's efforts woke her up and the first thing she felt was a pain inher entire body as bones were cracked in several locations. Grunting in pain, she clutched at her side before spotting the Zephyr shouting at her.

"Ugh... feels like a Harvester just tackled me... what happened?" She asked, her words formed behind gritted teeth. "Last thing I remembered was getting shot down by a gunship..."

A large fireball in the sky wouldn't go unnoticed. Not even on earth.

 

The Grineer Heavy Gunner Kera De Thayos. A Veteran of the Gradvius Dilemma, A Servant of the Grineer Empire and Recently turned into an Arson Extremis had spotted the Fireball in the air. landing several meters away from the base she was operating from. 

 

She called for a search party with herself as the party leader."Ulfe! Ranos! Cado! You're with me!"

 

"Yes ma'am!" shouted Ulfe. a Grineer Bombard

 

"I Obey" Shouted Ranos. a Grineer Elite Lancer

 

"On it!" Shouted Cado, a Grineer Combat Medic and Napalm.

 

With everyone set and ready to go, they ventured forth and began their pursuit of the crash site though Earth's vast jungles. Banches and leaves were crushed under them as they began their rush.

"A gunship was deployed from the grineer base I'm on my way to, I'm guessing that was the other burning wreck coming down. I'm sorry I couldn't stop it." She inclined her head briefly in apology, then raised it again. "I'm called Stork, by the way."

The Zephyr got off of the Mag Prime, then glanced around at the forest for a second, and checking her enemy radar to make sure they were alone. "I assume that was your ship that was shot down?" she inquired, kneeling in sieza. "A gunship was deployed from the grineer base I'm on my way to, I'm guessing that was the other burning wreck coming down. I'm sorry I couldn't stop it." She inclined her head briefly in apology, then raised it again. "I'm called Stork, by the way."

"That is quite alright, Stork. Thanks for waking me up. My name's Lia-Anastasia." Said the Mag Prime catching her mistake and correcting herself. "I need a few moments to rest while my Warframe repairs the damage from the injuries I have right now."

Hobbling towards a large piece of wreckage that looks like it could be sat on, Anastasia let her Warframe heal and rejuvenate her battered body. Sighing from being released from the painof her injuries she stood up once again to check her equipment.

"Still have my cloak on... Good... Fang Primes... Still there... Paris Prime? Still there. Good. At least I'm still equipped." She thought, patting herself down before drawing her Fang Prime and throwing it towards Stork in one fluid motion, barely missing her head and impacting into the trunk of a tree with the blade pierced through a snake's head.

 

Stork visibly jumped when the Fang Prime slammed into the tree next to her head, then saw the snake. "I- aaaaah," she let out a long, shaky breath, eyeing the Fang Prime. "I don't think that snake was any danger..." She looked over at Anastasia, examining with awe her repertoire of Prime equipment. "What clan are you from? You must be very high ranked."

Stork visibly jumped when the Fang Prime slammed into the tree next to her head, then saw the snake. "I- aaaaah," she let out a long, shaky breath, eyeing the Fang Prime. "I don't think that snake was any danger..." She looked over at Anastasia, examining with awe her repertoire of Prime equipment. "What clan are you from? You must be very high ranked."

"Unless you consider previously heading an artifact recovery company staffed with friendly Corpus, Grineer exiles and Tenno as being a high-ranked clan member... No. I am not." Said Anastasia, effortlessly retrieving the stuck Fang Prime with her magnetic ability and then sheathing it back on her hips between her quivers and thighs.

Across from the Crash-site. Several Grineer shouted in fluent Grineer were overheard in the distance 

 

"Hey! I think it's that way!"

 

"Ranos! You're sense of direction is horrible!"

 

"Well please show us the way Doc before I'll ram my boot up your backside!"

 

"Oh you Two shut up! it's this way! Look for the smoke!"

Said Anastasia, effortlessly retrieving the stuck Fang Prime with her magnetic ability and then sheathing it back on her hips between her quivers and thighs.

"Huh," Stork cocked her head slightly in thought. "So, you just got all that from Void towers? I've never-" Stork's enemy radar picked up the Grineer a bit before their foreign language reached her and Anastasia. Instantly, her Latron snapped into her hands, and her whole body became tense as a steel cord. "We'll ambush them, standard tactics," she whispered nervously, "I'll take out the highest priority target to disrupt them, and you can clean up." With that, Stork triggered Tailwind, soaring into the canopy. A second later, an invite to join Stork's cell roster popped up on Anastasia's HUD.

"Sounds like a plan." said Anastasia, climbing up a tree and unfurling her collapsed Paris Prime, nocking an arrow and taking aim at the Grineer. "I'm ready. Waiting on you to engage."

After leaving the Hounds and Rats pub, she plotted a course to Earth. It would take some time, but with the Liset, it shouldn't cause too much of a fuss. It was a stealth craft after all.

 

Ismiri patched in to her communications systems, to the signal from the distress beacon.

 

"Hello? If anyone can hear this, This is Tenno Ismiri. I will be arriving shortly from my location. Please respond." She said with some casual tone.

 

It will take at least a several minutes before arriving. Hopefully someone will respond then...

Receiving the transmission, Anastasia looked around on her perch before responding.

"Ismiri? It's me. Anastasia. Where are you?" she asked. "Were you detected by the Grineer?"

Ismiri was caught off-guard when she heard Anastasia's voice over her radio. Still trying to maintain relative coposure she talked to her.

"Anastasia? Why are down on Earth? What is going on?" The Banshee asked. "As for your question, I am on my way currently. Will reach the planet in a few moments. Anything I should know about?"

Ismiri was caught off-guard when she heard Anastasia's voice over her radio. Still trying to maintain relative composure she talked to her.

"Anastasia? Why are down on Earth? What is going on?" The Banshee asked. "As for your question, I am on my way currently. Will reach the planet in a few moments. Anything I should know about?"

"I was... wandering the system looking for answers. And yeah, avoid the Grineer base near my position at all costs. They deployed a gunship that shot me down when I was in low Earth orbit." said Anastasia, still tracking the Grineer squad that was approaching.

"ULFE! Shouted Kera as the Grineer Bombard was hit in the neck, the other shots were absorbed by his armour and mask-plate. Cado however got hit in the thigh as Anastasia's arrow hit him. Kera grabbed Ulfe and hoisted the poor Bombard onto her back.

Ranos began firing around the direction the arrow flew from with Kera and the Injured Cado acting as backup with Kera's Gorgon and Cado's Napalm Orgis.

Stork stopped for a second to snap off another three shot salvo, this time at the Napalm's right side. Not having the luxury of time, she aimed for center mass, with one round tunneling sideways into the thick chest piece, one pounding into the tough forearm plating, and the last piercing the thin material over the Napalm's bicep.

Now aware that they may split fire and target her as well as Anastasia, Stork kept moving and triggered Turbulence. While vastly increasing her defenses against bullets, the howling wind also gave away her position.

"FALL BACK! FALL BACK!" shouted Kera as she carried Ulfe off to back to base, still firing her Gorgon at the trees and the direction of the arrows and the winds, her bullets lightning up a brilliant firey orange. Ranos covering her with a similar aim.

Spotting the Napalm round hurtling toward her, Stork dropped from the tree, letting it's volatile payload coat and incinerate the branch she had been on. The harsh buzzing of bullets arcing through her wind shield surrounded her until she hit the ground, and could dive into cover and dispel the raging winds. Her shields reported minimal depletion, but she still didn't risk coming out of cover to pick off the fleeing Grineer.

Ismiri was hearing all of the gunfire throughout. The sharp retorts from places had her concerned.

 

"Ana? Are you okay?" Ismiri said with some concern. "I'll be there in a few more minutes."

 

Ismiri was within the Earth's view. She could see the waypoint marker, labeling the distress beacon. It was a few hundred-thousand meters away. She remembered the Grineer Gunship, Anastasia mentioned earlier.

 

"Anastasia, I See Earth. Will try to reach the planet surface, and contact you there."

 

She zoomed into the atmosphere of the planet, some odd distance away from the marker, hoping that the Grineer gunship wouldn't spot her.

The harsh buzzing of bullets arcing through her wind shield surrounded her until she hit the ground, and could dive into cover and dispel the raging winds. Her shields reported minimal depletion, but she still didn't risk coming out of cover to pick off the fleeing Grineer.

 

"One down, do you want to pursue or just let them leave?" asked Anastasia, placing the nocked arrow back into its quiver before sliding down the tree trunk.

 

Ismiri was hearing all of the gunfire throughout. The sharp retorts from places had her concerned.

 

"Ana? Are you okay?" Ismiri said with some concern. "I'll be there in a few more minutes."
