Permanent Energy Drain

I was doing some Orokin Derelict Defense with a full squad.

At around wave 16 our Vauban disconnected so we decided to leave after wave 20, a few waves later (Wave 18 or something) Some energy draining tanks spawned and obviously drained our energy over time.. Now after we finished that wave we noticed that we all had no energy after picking up all the energy orbs that dropped and didn't seem to get any energy from the Energy Siphon aura mod 'nor Energy orbs. I've never had this before and was wondering if people have experienced this before.

You got drained to negative energy, this happens.

Yup, what the others said, the energy drain continues building up a deficit after your counter hits 0. Don't know if it's a bug or what, but can be hella annoying.

that explains why energy orbs werent giving me energy even when the eximus was still around -_-

 

while they are looking at it, they should cut the aura down to 5m-10m aka NEARBY like it states in the codex....not 9001m lol

they should also give you some indication that a parasitic enemy is nearby an aura of some kind

i'd just like fixing the drain so that it stops at 0E and doesn't go negative.

This happened in Orokin Derelict Assassination (and possibly other missions) too. Really annoying!!
