Anyone Have A Good Grakata Build?

I like taking silly and/or crappy weapons and trying to use them to good effect, so I want to know what a good grakata build would be.  I have three forma on it (two Vs and one dash).  Should I go with a crit build?  I've been throwing a bunch of elemental mods (tailored to the faction I'm fighting, of course) and it seems pretty garbage at this point tbh, so I'm hoping there's an alternate build that I can get better results with.

The Grakata isn't silly or crappy at all, it's at least in the top 15 primaries.

This is what I use on mine, and it works pretty great.

5x V polarity forma, Serration, Heavy Cal, Split Chamber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Hammer Shot, and the dual stat cold and the dual stat poison for viral and more status chance is what I generally use.

Or go for proc builds. It has one of the greatest proc chances in the game, especially for a mid tier weapon.

For real tho, they aren't mutually exclusive, especially w/ Hammer Shot. It might be more viable to replace Hammer Shot with Heavy Cal and simply use more event mods, though. It really depends on which ones you have.

It's an 8-Forma Blast Proc build I run to hose down Ashes in PvP. It's crazy fun.

 

Otherwise, just use a crit/status build as others have suggested. Viral status is probably the best.

Grakata is probably the best sub 6 mastery primary weapon.

Go for something like a Soma build, they're similar.

Status / Crit build. May require a few Forma but it pays itself off once you've finished

What rank heavy cal do you use?  It's hard enough to hit anything with recoil the way it is.
