Helios Scanning More Targets Than It Should.

Helios will scan all targets that haven't been completed in your codex. Even if it gets enough scans during a mission, it will continue to scan that enemy. The next mission Helios won't scan that target anymore.

Helios seems to be unable to check the codex during a mission to see if a codex entry is complete or not, so it will continue to scan the target.

it'll also scan a target if you aim at it, even if it's already have the maximum number of scans and even if it's a different mission

I've never seen my Helios do this, and I still check my codex at least once a week.

It has scanned a Corrupted Heavy Gunner a total of 23 times during one mission. Whenever I check it, it's still at 23/3, showing that Helios hasn't scanned it. They also never light up anymore like they do when scanned.

There are 2 more Helios scanning bugs.
1) When he starts scanning the target and it dies before the end of the scan( before it lights white), the scan won't be scored and you get no experience for it. However, scanners will be depleted anyway.

2) There are a lot of breakable objects in the mission (vent grids, fans) that are not listed in the Codex, but they are still scanable. This will also burn your scanners.

why don't they remove the "buying scanners" concept? I mean - making a helios costs a lot of resources, so it should be able to work without the need to buying these scanners. No one would mind if it scans a single object a few billion times as long as it doesn't have a constant upkeep cost (like buying the scanners). But right now, its wasting a lot of resources.

The second point I've found to only be relevant for a limited number of scans. It seems that although they don't have codex entries, they do still have a number of scans required.
