Text size/font and text shimmer

Does anyone else feel the menu text should be made larger, or at least give us the option to change it? Certain areas, like planet descriptions, and the chat box. I personally think making it a couple points larger and/or a bolder font would improve the readability, but I am wondering if anyone else feels the same. Nothing too drastic, just a slight increase or a menu option for us to adjust it ourselves.

Also the text shimmer, for lack of a better term, looks cool but I also feel there should be a menu option to toggle that on or off.
