Psychic Bolts is pathetic, and not worth the slot. Everything else is useful (Mind Control for single targets like heavies, Chaos for literal crowd control, and Absorb if you're set upon by a horde of enemies)

 

Mod for maximum power efficiency and range. As for a specific build, I like to leave that for the user to decide.

I was thinking similar,, but i have a second doubt, how to build a good absorb skill?

Stretch, Overextended, Fleeting Expertise, Streamline(or Arcane Vespa), Flow.

 

Even if you dump duration her other abilities last forever and are dirt-cheap. Mind Control suffers a little, but Chaos you want to be able to recast moderately quickly - it's a huge pain not being able to Chaos a crowd because one affected Heavy refuses to die. I run Constitution to compensate for the lack of duration, but nothing else.

As others have said you want to max out range and efficiency. Duration can work but I tend to only add enough to offset the loss (Due to fleeting expertise).

A good Nyx will never get hit thus wasted slots right there.

Obviously the idea of never getting hit is pure fiction.  While Nyx can minimize the risk of getting hit, she inevitably will get hit no matter how good the player thinks they are.  At a high enough level this stray hit will be fatal so health and shield mods are not really needed.  Also, the latest changes to Absorb make Nyx far less survivable as she can easily run out of energy while using Absorb.  Once it ends she is likely dead from a spawn outside of Absorb's knockdown radius.

Power efficiency, range, and power strength. Eventually they will start to pull at each other for your accumulative power duration, strength, and efficiency so I don't recommend using more than one Corrupted Mod. I'd personally recommend Fleeting Expertise, the duration reduction for Mind Control and Chaos isn't so detrimental it breaks the ability.

Nyx relies on chaos and absorb to get the job done. Mind control gets honorable mention, bit it's somewhat situational, even more so than absorb. The less said about psychic bolts the better.

 

To leverage these abilities to maximum effect, you should be building Nyx around efficiency and range. Power does her little good and duration is pretty much player preference, though shorter tends to be better due to how chaos works.

 

This generally means Nyx will be an ability spammer. You'll have overextended, stretch, and enough duration mods to get chaos to a comfortable point (I use a 2-rank constitution for a 13 sec chaos--I think, it's been awhile since I've looked at her). Then it's a matter of a combination of fleeting expertise and  streamline or the arcane Vespa helmet to hit 75% efficiency (though really she's fine at 60%). The rest is personal preference.

 

This will give you extreme range on a quick repeatable chaos, a goodly duration on absorb if necessary, and enough mind control duration to be useful.
