Depends. Are you going for E-mashing or charged attacks?

E-mashing: +Attack Speed +ArPen +Damage% +Critchance +Critdamage (+Element of your choice, optional)

Charge: +Charge Speed +Charge Damage +Critchance +Critdamage (+Element of your choice, optional)

It's worth noting that +Damage% and +Armor Penetration doesn't do anything for charged attacks.

Edit: Dual Ethers have a pretty high charge damage - so a charge build would be worthwhile.

Hmm, seems I'm going for ASPD. Is it worth it to invest crit mods to it?

A little bit of misinformation there, +ap damage % is treated as an element and does do extra damage with charged attacks.

But you can do charge attack spam with any melee weapon. Dual Ether shines because of the innate armor pierce on regular attacks without losing the infested damage bonus or knockback ability like the Fang does.

Dual Ether, imo, should be modded and used for regular attacks.

Fury, Pressure Point, Sundering Strike, Molten Impact, North Wind all maxed (47 points so far)

The remaining 13 points into:

Shocking Touch (maxed) and Rank 0 Staggering Force for Corpus missions

Organ Shatter Maxed and Rank 0 True Steel for Infested or Grineer missions

what about using all 3 elemental mods? do they negate each other or work all together? (and how do they scale with all the various dmg reductions?)

AFAIK they work as independent damage beside normal damage, so after calculated from base damage, it all applied as 3 different damage.

And by the way, does anyone know how much is Dual Ether's crit rate?
