Prime Access Or Early Update?

I remember Prime Access is released a week after it is teased. Today it was launched (on a Tuesday!). Personally I don't think this will take up the update we usually get on Wednesdays. What do you think?

Well it did say Update 14.8.0: Nyx Prime. So probably early.

I think the update was rolled out a day earlier than the normal Wednesday update because they wanted to match it up with the PS4 update.

 

It's actually the first time that PC content was held back so that it could be released on the PS4/Consoles.

 

Consoles get Nyx Prime with 14.5, but PC players get it with 14.8.

 

This might be why there was datamined/leaked information with the PC 14.5 update, because it was simply a placeholder in PC update data while console update data was having the actual assets added in. 

 

Basically if DE kept the Nyx Prime update to Wednesday for PC, then console players might have gotten Nyx Prime before PC players.
