Scindo Finisher Seems Kind Of Odd

Can't say I've ever used a battle ax in real life but the way the finisher attack for the Scindo works looks odd, driving the top part of the ax head down on to an enemy isn't exactly the way I would imagine you would finish off a guy on the ground. Wouldn't you just chop them in half using the main blade of the ax instead?

 

I think this is due to the fact that the Scindo shares its animations with other more sword like heavy weapons, but it really might deserve it's own unique animation for this.

it would sorta make sense becuase your smashing the top into the head and it might break the skull and destroy the brain

I'd use it like a pogo-stick and hop on them - same with fragor.

there should be a distinction between swords and axes in stances. swords have the option of using a stabbing motion but axes are 100% swing motions

I don't know, why bother doing that when you could just use the weapon way it was meant to be and just decapitate them instead.

In real life, a battle axe can weigh up to 50lbs.

 

It would be much easier to just drive that weight into someones skull rather than open yourself to an attack and swing it at them.

This is especially jarring when using the Manticore or Dagger Axe skins... but still, I believe rule of cool is at play here and works fine for me :)
