Expirement With Pyrana

So after tweaking and testing some stuff with Pyrana when I noticed it's above average Crit chance and multi I decided to throw it into the Forma-inator 9001

 

This is what came out, though I am amazed at the 43.3K Burst DPS when Crits are involved....though I may take out Hollow Point for more CC with Seeker so that it's spread out over a group.....Now if only I had more slots so I could keep both and add in Ammo Mutation.....DE can we get 10 slots on out weapons please?

I'd much rather use Ice Storm in place of Hollow Point to solve some of the mag/reload issues. I may have to rebuild it... Brakk can also pull off a decent crit build though and doesn't come with a 2 second reload :/

The magazine isn't much of an issue, I think only time it's been an issue for me was when I was re-ranking it and it was bare.  Besides that once I got at least the Core mods(Hornet Strike and both Multishot mods) everything went down quite easily.  though I might replace Hollow Point with new Slash mod just for some added damage.

 

Edit: Yep with Maim instead of Hollow Point I got 48K Burst DPS

Hollow point isn't worth on any of the guns in Warframe. Replace it with Heated Charge and you have 4k more burst DPS and 1k more sustained DPS.

But its still crit DPS, which means its actually lower. But yeah, nice, my Brakk build have around 35k non-crit with 3 formas. Brakk looks like the best Secondary right now, maybe Dispair with 2 formas can argue with him a bit for the 1st place.

Actually Hikou Prime beats out Despair due to how much fast it's fire rate and reload speed is coupled with it's damage.  

Brakk on the other hand has fall-off damage while Pyrana doesn't allowing me to if need be add Punch-through and letting the full damage go through multiple targets, as well as comparing brakk's 33% to Pyrana's 44%

Replaced it with maim making the Burst go from 43.3K to 48K, that and Heat isn't the best for Void runs but cold would work better allowing you bon us damage to alloy armor and shields.

Maim is only useful against Infested.

Then you would want max Viral damage. Viral deals 75% extra damage against Cloned Flesh and 50% extra against Corpus Flesh. Slash only deals 25% extra. Slash also suffers -25% against robotic.

Of course, though as a back up with slash proc being able to bypass armor and sheilding which is a good thing to have skewed towards.   Though I myself am still working on how to make it balanced enough I can run multiple builds for the factions.
