Bunch Of Questions Regarding Clan Tech

Question

Here we go

Say I complete the research for a weapon, get a blueprint of that weapon, then leave the clan. Would the blueprint still be in my inventory and work as intended or would it become unsusable because "you have no honor, you darn rat" or some such thing?

If I decide to disband a clan I own, but later reconstruct it, would all my research be lost forever? Logic implies that would be the correct answer, however anything can happen in the world of space magic

And finally.. Should I stick with my 1 man clan (solo players's suffering) and the clan tech and rooms i've aquired, or just leave it behind and join a better clan?

Right now i have a tenno lab with all weapons fully researched (and a blueprint of each one, of course), energy lab, and bio lab but dumping resources in them is gonna leave me dry

You will keep the blue prints.

Yes you will loose all you reasearch.

As a 1 man clan it doesn't drain you, I farm resources while leveling weapons and have no issues. But i have been playing a good long while.

Leaving to go to another clan, maybe, or see if you can get into an alliance?

1. Not sure, I believe it will stay, but you might not be able to build it if you didn't take enough of the base bp's that you need to combine the samples into.

2. If a clan is disbanded all resources put into the clan and research are lost, there is no way to recover them once the very last person leaves the clan.

3. Your choice, you can join another clan with the research if you want. Some people like having the community of people that clans can have, others just want the clan on their own so they can build it at their own pace and just get the clan research.

If you leave a clan but bought a blueprint it should be fine. Completely destroying a clan then making a brand new one, the research will be gone " but destroying a research room but keeping the dojo will keep the research if you rebuild the room". Join a larger clan if your alone, or get people to join yours. 1 Person is not enough to make a clan sadly.

Oxium is the only resource that makes a solo clan unappealing from the research perspective.  You need 600 to build Zypher so the extra 200 to research it (I think it was 200... was a long time ago) only adds work.  Helios and some of the other stuff also need oxium.

Its all doable and kind of depends how fast/badly you want the oxium related stuff if its worth the trouble.
