Thought About Prime Releases

So I have a friend that really likes Vauban and we were talking about potential next primes. He was saying that volt should be the next male prime but wants Vauban prime to come out soon. This got me thinking vauben was released through alerts so why not have Vauban prime be released through void alerts. Now the concept may seem awkward so I am will attempt to explain it as best as I can.

Void alerts work the same as normal alerts in the sense that they pop up on your UI.

      Ex for standard alert: Carme, Jupiter: Enemy Transmissions Located - 49 min - 5000 cr

      Ex for void alert: Tower 1 capture, Prime piece

      Ex for Vauban prime alert: "Insert tower number", Vauban Prime

 

Now the reason for vauben prime and not something like Vauban prime bp/systems/chassis/helmet is because you do not know which piece you will get from the tower as it is left to RNG.

 

The rule for a tower alert is that unlike an alert where you just have to have the area unlocked you would need the proper key to access the tower since it is a void mission.

A guaranteed specific prime part is better than a chance for one.

true but at the same time you are waiting for the alert, need the specific key, and may get multiple of the same piece so it gives a fun take on the current farming.

it's nice to hear that since most ideas seem to get shot down right out of the gate. just wish that more people could see it and give feedback.

it's interesting to say the least, would make vauban prime and alot of prime parts less grindy, which is very welcome with the current state of tower drop tables, + 1

I would absolutely despise this idea. I already struggled to get Vauban in a couple months because of all the alerts for the helmet were at times for me between 1am-6am...

good idea, it could also be use for some of the current void BS rng

 

1 thing does need to happen is that those void alert specials need to last at least 3 hrs if not 6, since 1 or 2 hr wont be enough cause some of us have school or a job to deal with

This is neat idea. It would keep the feeling of rarity and uniqueness to Vauban.

awesome to hear everybody's opinions and feedback, i feel that this could be something new and different that could add another interesting thing to the game.

i agree that the timer should be longer than an hour since it would be similar to a special alert and people do have jobs/school.

definitely liking this idea,you could maybe even have an alert that clues people in that this kind of alert is going out (for those who have busy schedules so they can plan ahead a bit), can give em hints towards what key they would need such as void or derelict and even if they need a dragon key if its in the derelict.

Its a fine idea

 but this will most likely happen in a few months/next year so no need to tink about it now

just enjoy your 2nd female prime and then 2 male primes after that and then 2 female again and then vauban CAN come out as one of the next 2 male primes
