Sir_NoScope
Warframe Machinimas. This game has all of the basic necessities for creating something amazing. Shoulder toggle-able cameras, character customization, impressive level sets and graphics, helmets to hide unmoving lips. But then again, we could always make it better. These are just a few extra ideas that would help creators work even faster. So we can get the best angle for each scene. To never have to cancel a segment to go annihilate some Grineer prankster who wandered on set.Machinima Mode: First and foremost, a Machinima Matchmaking option. This option would be Invite-Only, and be accessible from this menu here: Equipment Wheel: In this mode, enemies should not spawn regularly, but instead be place-able objects using the equipment wheel. The little squares could each be for a specific faction, then open further outward or be cycled through with number keys to varying members of the faction. Other Possible Tools: These options would be toggle-able using the remaining squares on the equipment wheel. Sentinel: Transforms the user into their last-used Sentinel (Helios by default if you don't have one, because camera). This mode should be similar to Halo's Forge Editor, allowing the user to set up the perfect camera angle or place objects/characters. First person/Third person toggle.Possess: Allow the user to possess a placed Character. This could be used to procure video of enemies battling, running, chatting, or walking on patrol, things that would normally be a little more difficult to obtain.Object Placer: This way, the user can place objects such as Cryostasis chambers, explosive barrels, weapon props, ammo, etc. However, these would only be props, and not actual items that a character could collect for their personal inventory. unit104
Rubs his hands together*, if this comes real, The Past, The Present will now be in cinema-mode!
meIody-
Sounds cool. Hopefully Deadly Emu will make sure there's no way to get loot from this mode.
xxx7
While not necessarily the exact same details, I along with many others have wished/asked about this. Totally support the idea of having some sort of control just for making trailer-like but gameplay based videos!
PandemicLegions
If not this, I'd at the very least want a video editor, where you can save previously played missions and be able to travel around the level in free camera much like in Halo. It would include basic tools such as pause, fast forward, rewind, half time, double time, etc.

I don't think DE has that sort of server space (yet), and I'm not sure whether anyone else has a big enough hard drive to hold files that big. But then again, knowing how good DE is at optimizing things, they could probably compress those files pretty well.

My friend posted a topic about the same thing a week or so ago and I agree that this would be a nice addition for machinima enthusiasts. It would also be a good way to promote Warframe and get more players interested about this game as a side product.

TankHunter678
This would certainly give us something else to do besides grind all day, and could produce some amusing results.
