Archeyef
So I just found out, through a random occurrence, that if you use Mind Control on an enemy that is attempting to initiate a lockdown (after the alarm has gone off), they will instead turn off the alarm. It's kindof a niche use but I thought it was kinda cool and decided to share. If this is already generally known, then I apologize for my ignorance. :D Edit: I am trying to reproduce this. I managed to set it up once, but it did NOT happen as it did the first time, meaning the alarm was not reset. It may be that the enemy needs to be partway through the animation for this to work. Will continue attempting to reproduce and report back. Edit 2: I can confirm now that this does indeed work. I was able to make it happen again. It seems you need to time it right. Don't mind control the enemy doing this right away, allow them a little time to get partway through the console animation. I would like to second Metalarcher's kudos, great job whoever programmed this in! Edited September 26, 2014 by Archeyef
Nethaufer
Nice find! I'll have to experiment with this. That is, if my pubbies don't kill the thing I JUST mind controlled. Only thing I can get away with mind controlling are the Corpus drones.

Archistopheles
That's definitely "Pro Tip" worthy. Nice find.
Nethaufer
Also, don't forget you can mind control the Corpus turrets, and if you use chaos near cameras, the cameras will be active for the entirety of chaos's duration, which means your turret slave will be active the entire time. Metalarcher
+1 to whoever added that functionality to Nyx. In my book, cool nuances to abilities (and more dynamic effects) make them good, as opposed to whatever ability does the most damage.
Blackout751
Try mind-controlling Corpus cameras when you play through their missions. Lasers have no effect on you and will knock down any incoming Crewmen. It's surprisingly useful in Survival. Nice find! I'll have to experiment with this. That is, if my pubbies don't kill the thing I JUST mind controlled. Only thing I can get away with mind controlling are the Corpus drones. You can get away with controlling drones? I place a mind-control on anything, my teammates treat it like a target marker.
Phooney
This works? I am impressed. Now if I can just get him to make me a sandwich, I wouldn't need to be married anymore.

But yeah, usually I can get away with tagging shield drones. Also, I didn't know that bit about cameras.
