Does Dmg Proc Work?

Question

Weapons have

Impact, Puncture, Slash,

Do each of these proc on their own? or just the one with the highest value?  or it is random 1 of the 3? or is it all 3 at once?

Let say you add elements to the weapon

Does the element proc produce an effect based on the total damage?  or just that specific element component part of it?

So if let say total weapon dmage is 500, and element adds 15% = 75.

if the proc is 50% of the damage over time - is it 35 points over time? or (575/2) over time?

If there is more than 1 element (let say Corrosive and Ice) do they proc the same way the 3 weapon dmage types do?

Afaik, chance to proc given element is damage type (IPS or elemental)/total damage(physical+elemental)

So 5 puncture out of 20 total physical damage has 25% chance to proc.

Damage deals constant percentage of weapons base damage (I'm not really sure but this could be based only on IPS damage+total damage mods (Hcal, serration)).

Impact procs interrupt ( makes them stumble for a second ), Puncture decreases the mob's damage output, and Slash procs a Bleed ( damage over time that bypasses shields ).

Only one status effect can proc at a time ( per hit ), though they do stack. What gets procced is weighted based on the damage output. So a weapon with 100 Slash, 20 Impact and 80 Fire damage at 100% Status chance, will have a 50% chance to proc Bleed, 10% for an interrupt, and 40% for lighting them on fire.

Neither.

The proc damage is based on the modified base weapon damage. Specifically, the base damage plus the effect of mods like Serration. So a Bleed proc, for example, would do 35% of that damage per tick.

Proc type is based on % damage contribution, but physical (Impact, Puncture, and Slash) always makes up at least 50% of the proc. So weapons with IPS base will only proc elementals 50% of the time (at the most, assuming more than +100% elementals are installed).
