(PSN)Shadow_Of_Hunhow
Scindo prime is a monster of a weapon, slow but hits hard, like all the heavy weapons should behave. Instead of weapons like the galatine swinging faster than pretty much every dagger and hitting just as hard, if not harder, they need to be a lot slower, but have a much higher base damage. This needs to happen along with a rework of the daggers too, they need to be given a massive speed increase, as well as a high crit chance, but with a low base damage. Problem is, daggers are just really slow. Not the other way around. But I do agree, the heavier weapons need to get a buff to damage while staying slow. VKhaun
Variety above all. I like the idea of some large fast weapons and I like the idea of some huge slow weapons.
TheLocalHentai
They just don't have that "Umph" when they hit. Not enough damage and not enough mayhem. Hell, even Kogake/Obex cannon kick does more visual damage than most of the heavy melees.
Zero.No.Hikari
A problem with all weapons in warframe is they are missing weight, if anything they are like paperweights that have the power of nukes. Take Gorgon for example, it is a Heavy MG but we hold it like if it was heavy but feel none of the recoil from firing it at full speed same with grakata not giving you that tommy gun feel. Most if not a lot of weapons are missing weight to how they look.
(PSN)MoRockaPDX
OP. Seeing as I have yet to read or hear a compelling argument why it shouldn't be as you said it, I agree.

Equip your standard heavy melee and it just looks like you're waving it around in slow motion.

They're swung like your Tenno is swimming through molasses. I would urge DE to take a look at how the Souls series handles heavy weapons-- higher windup and recovery time, but quick swing.
