Rank 0's In Impossible Places

Here's a mystery for thee all to wonder, How does a Rank 0 travel all the way to Sedna or pluto? Because I have witnessed these mysteries and am still confused by them.

Edit: Forgot to add that they are at soloing when I joined in, no other player was in the game.

They can join a higher ranked player and run the missions with them.

It is annoying as ever. Seriously, the biggest problem is their lack of communication and teamwork. I say "stay near terminal" he goes 1km away dying 10 times and sometimes even raging at me >.>

Edit: Possibly rushed through most of the system, or was taxi'ed far enough to progress without leveling up so much?

You don't have to take the rank up test.

 

There isn't much that has a mastery requirement.

 

They could have gone through every single planet and done every single mission while levelling every single frame and weapon that doesn't have said requirement and still be rank 0.

 

I didn't take my first mastery rank test until about 4 planets in. I know people that want to stay at rank 0.

You can play for 1000 Hours without ever doing a Mastery Test since right now the only thing its good for is trading and a few guns. Best thing to motivate players to do mastery test would be to put quest in as a masterytest, so if you want to play the quest and know a bit more lore you will have to rank up.

They got carried by their friends to a certain point. Then their friend left and now they're trying to do the mission alone because they have no idea how hard it actually is. That's when they meet you and get you to carry them.

Players don't need to take the mastery test.  I'm only rank 5 or 6 I think, but I definitely have ranked enough weapons to take it a few more times.  I just don't give a $#!%.

Because this has something to do with MR and never happens with high mastery players.

Of course not, just today I played with an MR13 Rhino Prime (of course packing all his prime gear like he is going to WW3 or something -.-) who thought he was carrying the game by Stomping everything :/

As we've said, you don't need to take the mastery rank test. Besides a couple of items and trading, mastery rank means absolutely nothing.

They might not even know about the rank up test or they do know and dont even care to try it out. I remember back in closed beta there was a guy who used to come on the forum show off he was rank 2 or some such low rank and had a bunch of stuff leveled up. Said there was no purpose for ranking up or something like that. You could rank up every non rank restricted weapon be able to get to some crazy high mastery exp and still be rank 0 as long as you dont even try to pass the test.

Seems pretty easy if you don't bother doing the rank up tests. You only need a good set of weapons to make it through all the missions just fine.

You don't really need to rank up.

Besides the Latron Wraith is lethal enough as it is.

 

It can give the Boltor Prime a run for it's money if formaed and decently modded.

Yup, my theory otherwise they don't have the mods to pass the test.
