Jin_Lightning
I've noticed that certain prime weapons don't have as bright of gold on them as others. The two weapons I've noticed this with is the Braton Prime, and Reaper Prime. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, go to Akkad and equip either one of the weapons above, and any other prime, whether frame or weapon. The gold trim isn't the same. Could we get the same sheen on Reaper and Braton Prime? If there's other weapons or frames that have this issue, list them here. -Jin
esapto
I think some of the older primes have a different type of gold, when all primes should have the same type of gold, i think the new shiny gold looks better. there's another thread about this showing the difference: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/316154-braton-prime-gold-texture/
Jin_Lightning
I've never seen it go grey like that. But here's more proof that all primes, whether frame or weapon, need the same gold trim. Looks awkward otherwise. -Jin
(PSN)R_Papa91
I have also noticed that Immortal skins remove gold trim from Warframes' bodies. I bought Frost's Immortal skin today and noticed it changed the gold color of his Cryo-pack and the other gold studs on his body. His shoulder armor's gold isn't affected, nor is Targis Prime. Yeah, it does that for my Excalibur Prime to, so I don't use it. I use it on my normal Excalibur, with my decked out noob loadout and go to Cerberus. -Jin
BlueJoe
The Burston Prime has noticeably less golden ornamentation than previous Prime weapons The Burston Prime may have been designed for actual combat, in contrast to the ornamental nature of other Prime weaponry.Copied from the wikipedia, I doubt DE would bother themselves with this and they clearly knew what kind of gold they were using. Anyway here is a list of those I have seen with a different type of gold. Paris Prime, Burston Prime, Bronco Prime, Lex Prime, Dakra Prime and Orthos Prime.EDIT:-Joe Edited October 1, 2014 by BlueJoe
