You just need to login and you get the reward. Nothing else.

Same here. I would probably die of excitement if I get one. My first ever 50% was about 3 weeks before the last Loki PA ended. I immediately grabbed the 4300 plat pk. That was nice.

That's the problem, the XP rewards ARE useless.

2400 is absolutely meaningless. If it was a decent chunk of XP then I could understand but it does nothing.

XP shouldn't even be a reward. Either it's too small and useless, or too big and many would complain they don't want to level too quick or making the game less challenge for them (seeing few posts by some people about this already).

It's what I did and got it pretty quickly.

 

This is false. Just because there are fewer rewards to choose from doesn't mean that any of them are more likely to appear. It's weighted so that discounts are going to be rare no matter how many consecutive days you log.
