Ideas For Heavy Weapon Rework

I have no idea if i'm the only one but I feel ever since melee 2.0 heavy weapons have just not been as fun or effective as they used to. Me myself I used to be the frost with a galantine tanking damage and using my galantine to one hit anything in my path I was just thinking that there might be a way to go back to making heavy weapons more effective. i'm not saying  get rid of stances but a way to make heavy weapons effective like they used to like maybe give heavy weapons a charge and depending on the stance it would change the animation damage etc or just give us stance that allows us to charge attack or something like that. I just want to here thoughts on this idea so if you have any ideas plz say them

I did think about what if they brought back the charging function revamped for 2.0, just for heavy weapons...but then I realized that no one would do stance combos anymore. I think there needs to be some kind of balance between charge attacks/heavy-related damage with combos...

People only do stance combos that have massive damage bonus associated with them. Like Crimson Dervish or the spin-to-win of the axes... provided the weapon has high enough base damage.

Otherwise you just ignore stance combos and mash quick melee. Which makes the vast majority of the stances in the game useless and unused. Who wants to flail about being flashy when quick melee is efficient?
