The best you can do is to stop PUGs and find some friends to play with. Friends won't tell you to take X frame instead of your favourite, after all.

To be fair, I guess they're just worried that you (or another random stranger player) can't properly handle the Void.

Etc -> Maybe Player A is pretty new, and has terrible weapons, but at least he has Nova, so he's not completely useless. If a new-ish player on Excalibur (Not optimized. Doesn't know the value of Blind, spams Javelin etc) joins void with mediocre weapons, he's just wasting a squad slot.

 

That said, I like Excalibur on Void runs. He's a magical, walking flashbang

Excalibro is my main, I started with him, ended my current journey with him. 

 

I use his abilities not only for pleasure, but also what they do best for me. The Slash dash, is my gap closer, my blind is my time to shine. Super Jump, well it's the one that gets me from A-B in no time. Parkour + Superjump, is quite the effective combination. 

 

Then we have the ult... Well, as fun as it might be, it lacks my role of play. 

 

 

TLDR; Excalibur is beast, Master of The Blade.
