Arxeand
So ever since I started playing Warframe, I loved looking outside the window of my spaceship, and I love the look of the planets, and whatnot. One thing however has been bothering me: When those Grineer ships fly by, as they orbit the planet, how don't they see my ship? Or when I'm going into one of their ships with my own dropping me off, how do they not know I'm flying at them? This goes for the Corpus too. Are we invisible? :o Space magic?! vaugahn
You are in a stealth ship. Presumably it has stealth systems that render it invisible/undetectable
PsychedelicSnake
To quote the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: "Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space." Simply put, the Grineer Galleons are large, and the Liset is small. Against the backdrop of space, you'd have a tough time finding the Liset just floating there. As for swooping in and out of missions, it's safe to assume that the Liset comes with stealth capabilities.

PsychedelicSnake
So... Space Magic! Considering it's classified as a stealth ship, I'd say it's more in line with In-Universe science than actual "wave it off as space magic".

But now its everywhere and even free in some places all the time. you are not enabling internet when arriving ome, its always there. remeber its like year 5000 in warframe

Sixty5
Hi curious! I'm sixty5 Anyways, the Liset is a small stealth ship. It wouldnt be surprising that the Grineer craft cannot see us. Spotting a Liset sitting in space would be like spotting a pebble on a pile of gravel from 10m away. Sure you can spot it if you know where it is, but unless you are looking for it you wont pick it out.
(XBOX)Grihaly
when you first get onto your ship Ordis says "void Clock Engaged" meaning the Lisets use some kind of Void stealth systems. So there is an invisible clock on my ship? What's the use in that if I can't tell the time?!?!?!?!!?!?
Cerberus888
So there is an invisible clock on my ship? What's the use in that if I can't tell the time?!?!?!?!!?!? It's a void clock. Not an invisible clock. So it tells you the time using void technology.
xlraistlx
It's a void clock. Not an invisible clock. So it tells you the time using void technology. Plus invisible clock wouldn't be of much use if it doesn't "speak" the time.
Lakitel
Funny posts aside, what we are talking about isn't so far off from what is going on nowadays but with the added dimension in space. So lets say we have a radar station and we want to detect something. What we do is we point our radar dish at the spot in the sky we want to scan, then we look for something called a crosshair. Now, crosshairs come in different shapes and sizes and it can pick anything from an airplane to a bird to noise in the data. In fact, what most stealth planes do is attempt to reduce the size of their crosshair so that they show up as a smaller object than a plane, like a bird for example. This is why even big commercial airliners can go missing, because it isn't super exact, and they have to have transponders constantly working to be able to be tracked properly. Now, extend this into space, you are talking about not merely scanning the sky, you are scanning literally 360 degrees around you. On top of that the Liset doesn't have a transponder (or a transponder that the grineer or anybody can pick up). Not to mention that its maybe what? a 10th the size of a commercial airliner? So you add all that up and you see a ship thats almost invisible to radar because of its shape, size and its location. In fact, they'd have to constantly scan all around them every minute and even then they'd have a hard time finding it. Looking at it from a visual point of view, a lot of people have stated the solution to this issue before. Looking for an object while its traveling at speed in air is very difficult. In fact, there have been several cases where two airplanes have collided when you would think they could see each other coming. The fact is if you extend that into space, its 10 times the problem, you can't see anything unless its actually like a few meters away from the ship and right in front of a window. So yeah, there's no magic about it, its just a matter of physics.
Korusagi
Think about jammers - You know those sabotage missions that you need to transmit a corrupted cata core? Or also, mobile defenses. You guys never seen James Bond invisible car? Or yet, Megamind invisible evil-esque car? hell! (PSN)Grievermode
Aside from cloaking feature, the Liset is a very fast and agile transport. Haven't you notice how fast were moving upon entry mission and there's the thing of which we can travel from planet to planet in such short time. Enemy radar system won't pick up your location in time because of this.
Lost_Cartographer
Think of it like an oil tanker (Galleon) looking for a tiny rowboat or canoe at sea (Liset.) A lot of search and rescue teams have failed to locate these rowboats, and most oil tankers aren't looking out over their bow for any rowboats either. Also, intercepted intercoms suggests they DO from time to time pick up a Liset, though it's often when the Liset is revving up to produce a huge energy surge, like entering the punch to go to another planet. The Grineer call it "unmasking."
