We are used to having the ability to react quickly and are working with Microsoft to speed up the turnaround time on fixes such as these. We hope you’ll keep faith in the game as we continue to work out the update kinks and use a 3-day Affinity Booster we have gifted to every Xbox One account to ease the pain of waiting. This gift via your in-game Inbox, will expire on October 31st- so don't miss out! For those interested in what the issue was, certain user’s Internet download speeds were tripping a timeout during the update on larger files. We solved this issue by removing large unnecessary content files from the build, as well as the timer for the timeouts and resubmitted it to certification. Moving forward, we will be dedicating ourselves to preventing this issue for all future updates by monitoring the size of content submitted. We will continue to watch reports throughout the day to guarantee the fix was effective. (XBOX)DirtyDNA Posted October 2, 2014 Share Posted October 2, 2014 it was nice to get the 3 day affinity bonus today, and I didn't have too much trouble with the 14.5 update last week (after about 8 hours of trying)... but it kinda stinks that it auto starts when you login. I just maxed out my first (and only) frame, and have a maxed out primary weapon... I am really close to getting building a new frame, but it will take 3 days for it to build, so this doesn't really help me the way I hoped it would. I did switch to new secondary and melee weapons to get some benefit from this bonus, and even use a old primary that's not maxed out, but I wish I could have had a 1 day bonus that I get to start when I can really benefit from it (with maybe a one week expiration date)... Not a big deal for me (mostly just bad circumstances),and as I said, I got the update fairly quickly. But if I had to wait several days to get back on, and was then in this situation, I probably would be pretty upset... especially considering that not everybody can play everyday... Working i activated mine at the start of my work week, i often only go on for an hour a day because of said work and the incentive to keep my daily log in bonus ticking over... fair to say its gonna be long over with before i actually get to get some proper time to run about on Warframe again but its no biggie because it was a lovely jesture. Being my first ever affinity booster acquisition i can see how much it really benefits you - ive been running a couple of token alerts with rank 0 weapons ive had sitting and by the gods my Ceramic Dagger went Rank 9 i think it was in two missions!!! This new Avalanche mission will really be an extra incentive for me now because with some holiday time coming up ill be able to proper take advantage of the reward.
