jonnin
patience. Soon it will fully hatch and the incubator menu will tell you the gender and type. At that point you can name it and in 2 more days, you can actually use it on a mission. Edited October 2, 2014 by jonnin

jonnin
What type he is tought, never seen that color etc I don't think type and color and body cosmetics are related. Also its color and features change as it grows somewhat. It should still be similar but it will change a little. Mine looked like a rabbit when it hatched. It still has bunny ears and buck teeth but its less bunny shaped in general as an adult. Edited October 2, 2014 by jonnin

Raunek-Ka
After some time from beginning of incubation (but before the kubrow will actually hatch) you'll get its ability mods, so you can determine the type. Check kubrow mods in inventory. But you'll be able to know kubrow's gender only after it'll hatch and you will name it.
Jeloxale
Check your mod collection. It should have 2 new kubrow ability mods for your new kubrow, unless they patched this. That's how you get to know the type
DarkLordGod
i got 2 gold shahasa mods in the mods inv so it's a shahasa?
ZenBlade01
Yep Sahasa if the mods are in your collection already and you have no other Kubrow.
Karamethien
Yeah the mods are made as soon as they hatch, so you know instantly based on that. Gender and size you just have to wait till they grow up :)
