Why Does Rhinos Iron Skin Percentage Count Fade?

For those who hadn't noticed, the new percentage count for The Rhinos Iron Crutch fades away after a few seconds of not taking damage.

Really, I'm just wondering why. It doesn't seem to have any point to have a display if the display fades away. What then is the point of having it there?

Small stupid example: A Rhino walks into a group of 3 Heavy Gunners with 4% of his Skin available, but doesn't know it because the display faded away from the last group he Stomped into the next century was 3 tiles back. He didn't pay attention/remember his remaining percentage and gets slaughtered due to his ignorance of the situation. He would have been more cautious if he knew he only had 4% of Crutch left.

Brought to you by the Preservation of Rhinos because selling their Horns isn't cool fund.

tl;dr Why does the new IS % display fade out?

'+1 for crutch

If you're stupid enough to walk into a group of three heavy gunners with any frame, you don't deserve to be playing this game.

Hello. My name is Valkyr and 3 heavy gunners dont stand a chance against me in a face to face fight

Exactly.

You leap attack ground slam into them.

That's the actual problem here.

Disagree. You could use this argument to defend the Health display disappearing as well.

You shouldn't have to "glance quickly before it disappears" at something that is effectively a health bar. There is no reason for a basic part of the UI to disappear just because you didn't get shot recently enough-- especially when that something is, again, effectively a health bar.

Actually, you make a great point there.
