Some really cool ideas in this thread. When I play I like to think im a bad ninja but I *believe* I am good, and everyone out there is actually just peaceful. Its all a matter of twisted perspective! Dont blame me, blame the Lotus! We obey!

Im really not sure if were the good guys.

I mean we know the Tenno have honor etc or had it in the past but when we were woken up everyone had amnesia and we know nothing about Lotus.

It never happened that the good guys were totally mislead by someone seemingly trustworthy right? She couldve stumbled about some info on the cryopod locations and thought a personal army might be nice.

Also even if its just the Grineer army thats cloned killing the scientist thats close to enhancing the technique so theyre not horribly deformed anymore is clearly evil. They might not even use those crude cybernetics if their bodies worked fine, if theres any freedom in their society at all, which means their combat performance would be roughly the same.

What if the stalker is a good guy and is kinda justified in punishing us cause of all the above? Sure he might just tell you the truth but he probably stopped after trying to do that with a squad of heavily armed space ninjas who just killed Vors millionth clone guided only by a voice only they could hear.

Where does the money come from that finances the Tenno infrastructure like the training center, the mission payments and the ships that pick up the escape pods? According to the suspicious info we have no allies and no civilians ... Its obvious were financed by an unknown party that has yet to show its face. Thats not a good sign. Why do they want pretty much everything in the solar system dead?

Is it actually the infection that guides us? We know at least the bosses are capable of thinking and if its goal is to infect everything why not use all the stuff thats on the many infected Grineer and Corpus ships to arm a lot of gullible space ninjas to kill stuff for it? Did you ever think about where that Viper/Kraken came from? Did it smell of disinfectant?

The infected ships/bases we clear are actually just filled with obsolete infected and/or meant to assess our strengths and weaknesses, since we need to be disposed someday, while the real force lurks elsewhere.
