Uguu Posted October 6, 2014 Share Posted October 6, 2014 So, this isn't in the update notes anywhere, but it has to be a very recent change. Used to be, if an Alert came up that was going to expire before you got to a computer to start it, you could get a friend who hadn't run it to get in the Alert and hold it open for you, so they could invite you once you were back and you could get the potato or Vauban piece or whatever that you were going to miss. It was a good thing! It made the painful and arbitrary Alert system a lot more tolerable. Well, as of sometime very recently, you can't do that anymore. Try to accept the invite, it says the mission is expired. This is a rather unpleasant change to what was a pretty harmless and much-appreciated behavior, especially to happen silently and be sprung on people. Is this deliberate? NovusNova Posted October 8, 2014 Share Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) U15 is nearly here :D Not Necessarily, since in the past DE have gone up to U x.11 and could go even higher or they've gone a couple or more weeks of hot-fixes on Wednesdays like before U14 came out with 14.9.1, then 14.9.2 and 14.9.3 spread over 3 weeks.
