What Is The Real Time Frame On The G3 Encouter?

Ok this is getting annoying and i did post a thread in bug reports in case it was a bug but anyway.

 

For the past few days i been trying to farm the G3 for the last brakk pace i need. Now because the wiki and others players say they only appear in the first 4 mins on a grineer tilset or i guess invasion against grineer. I would love to know if that is really true or not.. Reason i say this is last night i was helping a clan member farm O.cells on Saturn survival and 4 min went by no G3, then we proceeded to focus on killing and farming cells, but at about the 15 min mark suddenly they show up,so is it really just 4 mins or is it longer?

 

Hopefully someone has encountered them later in a Grineer map to see if it was not just me and my clan member or not.

Chances are the 4 minutes thing is an educated guess. DE isn't extremely forthcoming about all of their mechanics.

Screw what everyone and their superstitions say. There's only one thing that is true; They appear at random in any Grineer mission. Just hope they don't appear during an Interception mission because endless depression.

It also helps to not think about it. RNG knows when you're desperate and that's how it plays with your heart.

It is true. The Harvester, Stalker, and the G3 don't spawn past the five minute mark in a missions, and they can spawn all the way up until that time. Past that mark will only happen after a migration or other net error.

 

There was an old thread with timestamped statistics proving this.

What did you expect?

All I can add is that I have successfully farmed the Brakk and Detron (I now have more than enough parts to make seconds of both) and I always hosted farming groups for 3 other marked players in defense missions, leaving and restarting at the end of the 5th wave. This usually takes about 5 minutes and you can get T3 keys if you play the right maps. As far as I can recall, I have not seen them in any mission other than in the first 5 minutes and would be willing to bet that what John said about host migration is correct.

You asking the players, which have the same amount of data that you have. People went into the game and came up with the theory and proofs that that was the timespan.

From my experience of Brakk and Detron farming. They always appear before 5 minutes marks, after that you free to process without fear(?)
However, the timer will restart if the host migration happen. You'll get another 5 minutes marks again.

TBH; Stalker also seem to enjoy "extra" 5 minutes than original one in my case.
