Draciusen
So here I am, running Terminus to test out the new weapon I built (Pyrana), and lo and behold, the screen starts flickering. I start thinking "Oh boy it's the Stalker coming to dunk me again" Nope. Warbled Lotus transmissions. It's the G3. I have only ever faced them twice: once when I was running Nef Anyo for Gallium last earlier this year, where I could not kill them even with my Burston Prime, and the other time where I was on a Phobos survival with my friends for Tranquil Cleave in U13; we barely managed to kill them, and two of us died in the process. Since I had only an unranked Pyrana and my Glaive Prime on Zephyr (for coptering purposes and it looks really nice on her), I was definitely not going to be taking them on. I rush to extraction, but it was too late, mr shotgun guy (Vem something) teleports right in front of the door to the extraction hallway, blocking it with his huge body. Not wasting any time, I switched to melee mode, channeled, and began hacking away at him with the combos cause he was far too close to throw the Glaive, which would be suicide at this point. I managed to perma-stagger him with the combos, and prevent him from OHKO-ing me with that shotgun since I was in point-blank range. The other two for some reason were further behind (They teleported, but didn't end up right in front of me but had to run down a hallway), but after I dispatched scaryshotgunman nothing scared me. I used a ground cast of Tail Wind to knock them down (They were on top of me at that point), another cast to get away from them, then I threw the Glaive to kill them in a single detonation. And not a single Brakk part was dropped. Edited October 4, 2014 by Draciusen

vaugahn
And not a single Brakk part was dropped. That bad luck. Once I got a G3 spawn in a mission where I was leveling a frame and had a maxed-out gun. I was so stoked, and I wrecked them when they showed up, and they dropped nothing D:
Coatduck
Should be in Fan Zone, but yeah I have fought off the G3 with only a skana, and no abilities equipped. Melee 2 is very powerful, and I think a lot of people underestimate it.
Thyriell
"And not a single Brakk part was dropped." Amen.
Naqel
You misattribute your success/survival to a flawed system, probably because you like (sh)it. *cough* Truth is you'd stagger-lock him equally as much in melee 1.0, and maybe even get a chance to actually throw your glaive, since you wouldn't have to struggle with the controls. SSI_Kryptix
I know that feeling, imo brakk parts drop rate should be increased if you confront them alone.
LadyScootaloo
I could probably have done this with melee 1.0.
RoboDoge
I could probably have done this with melee 1.0. Charge Galatine. Get 100 k crits. Repeat.

TankHunter678
If it was melee 1.0 you would have 1 shot each of them with a Galatine charge attack and been on your sad-about-no-brakk-part way without wasting time being flashy.
