Sovamorne
Is there a proper technique? Wiki says it he has a 3.5% chance to spawn on a player every mission, but does the science of stalker hunting go further than that?
Wurdyburd
The method I usually use is this: -Have a team of four players who have multiple Stalker deathmarks each -Have everyone use loadouts with low conclave rating; if you don't have low-rank equipment, just unequip all your weapons except 1, sentinal included. Usually aim for 600 or so, but less is better -Run MPrime on Mercury. It's an easy map that you can complete quickly, and the tilesets are usually pretty good to allow fighting against a miniboss. -Stalker shows up between 30 seconds and 5 minutes usually. Use a timer [many can be found on the internet] and set it for 5 minutes, starting it when you begin the mission. Once the timer's up, you can leave, and start again. -Once he does show up, try and move your team to an large location with cover, and have the targeted player run around. Wallrunning, slide-flips, whatever, just avoid getting hit. Stalker will be too preoccupied with them, and trying to hit them, to notice three other players shooting him in the face. Guest
Take a rank zero frame with no mods, and only one weapon, also with no mods. He is guaranteed to show up. EDIT: Oh! And go Solo. Double the chances. Edited October 9, 2014 by Guest

Double the chances. Yea and die every time. Not an effective way, and he doesn't spawn based on your ranks now, it's a fixed 3.5% per player, s o its best to run with 4 marked players. RyojinOrion
In my experience, the best way to farm the Stalker is to not farm the Stalker. Just go about your business, and he'll show up. Having lower leveled gear seems to help immensely, though.
Sovamorne
Good so far. 4 marked players, low level gear, keep it coming! Edited October 9, 2014 by Sovamorne
Ailith
Sarcasm certainly doesn't travel well through text. Sarcasm in a help thread isn't exactly helpful, nor should it be expected (especially when the topic is about verifying methods). To add to the topic, the general procedure is to go to a survival mission with a marked squad and stay for 5 minutes. The Stalker will appear no later than 5 minutes into a mission, so just extract and repeat. Edited October 9, 2014 by Ailith

[DE]Grzegorz
According to Murphy's Laws and my experiences, stalker has 100% chances of showing up when: a) You don't need anything from him, b) You are solo, c) You are levelling up new stuff and are barely able to kill usual enemies. I either do exactly that, or backs to the wall to see exactly where he spawns. Spray him in the face while still kneeling. 80% he doesn't even get to stand up. Wurdyburd
What a bully... Not as a sadist, but there are consistent reports that Stalker comes after you when you have low-level equipment. It may only be coincidence, but considering that we've had conclave ratings for a while now, it's not too much a stretch to imagine that the equations have been around as long as stalker has, and he's always used them to tell when best to attack. Most players only use one of their three weapons per match as it is, it's not that horrible to put the other two away before running the farm.
