Lluid
Hello, It seems that all kills that you get from these sources are a waste of XP : - Nyx's Mind Control and Chaos - Nekros' Shadows of the dead - Radiation status effect (procs) Do you confirm this observation ? Do you agree with me that they should give xp to the warframe or weapon used ?
Varzy
It's probably just that, since you aren't the one that directly kills the enemy, the Affinity number doesn't show up, just like when allies kill enemies. Testing is needed, but I suspect you're still getting the Affinity, just split up between your warframe and weapons.

I would assume if it is giving affinity it is purely just to the warframe, just like other damage abilities do. They may be killing each other with their weapons, but it is your ability that is causing it. Also yeah I haven't really payed much attention to whether we get affinity and the numbers just don't pop up. Its total crap if it does not though. traficonserv
i dont know about others, but nyx's chaos doesnt give EXP. i always enjoyed watching enemies kill each other, but then i realized that the affinity numbers didnt appear. which is kinda makes sense to me. Eric1738
according to wiki, SotD gives u half exp from the kill. i guess the shadow takes the other half. and yes, i think it should be changed so players got full exp
Liminal
The way I see it all abilities should give xp if they cause deaths, even if indirectly. There shouldn't be any difference in xp between nuking everyone in the room and have them kill each other. And radiation procs should give xp to the weapon that triggered that effect. That said, maybe it's happening right now, I honestly cannot tell.
